Regret Rises - GMTK Game Jam

Regret Rises is yet a PROOF OF CONCEPT. Its under development and will be released soon.

STORY: Forte, the main character, is struggling with his own mind on a bipolar crysis started by a heartbreak. You play as his mind, trying to bring love to the girl he is in love with, but  he knows it's not enough. Yet he tries more and more, hoping one day being enough to her.

DUAL PURPOSE DESIGN: You need to sacrifice yourself to pass some obstacles. But when you are dead, love doesn't exist, neither pain, nor exit, it's just void, so these obstacles turns into platforms to continue. But it's a trade off, because suicide is never the best option inside your mind.
